Last week: La Center beat Ilwaco 50-8; Castle Rock beat White Salmon 26-6.

La Center (3-2, 2-1): After an error-filled game led to a lopsided loss to Toledo, the Wildcats have posted back-to-back impressive wins. … The Wildcats rushed for 502 yards against Ilwaco, led by Mike Polyakov’s 182 yards on 16 carries. He had three touchdowns. … Polyakov had 423 yards and 6 TDs on the season.

Castle Rock (3-2, 2-1): It’s been an up-and-down season for the Rockets, but they’ve posted back-to-back league wins over Stevenson and White Salmon. … Castle Rock fell behind 6-0 to White Salmon last week, and led 14-6 at halftime. … QB Cale Johnson was 4 for 9 for 58 yards passing.
