Week 4 football preview: Columbia River vs. Hockinson

Last week: Columbia River lost to Camas 38-14; Hockinson beat Tacoma Baptist 34-26.
Columbia River (2-1): Remick Kawawaki leads the Cheiftains with 376 yards rushing on 45 carries and 4 TDs … QB Clayton Frank had more success running the ball the passing it against Camas. Frank rushed for 88 yards and passed for 57. … On the season, Frank has rushed for 261 yards, passed for 182.
Hockinson (2-1): QB Justin Anderson had a solid game playing in place of the injured Jess Krahn, passing for 119 yards last week, including three TD passes to Beau Sparks. … Krahn (concussion) is doubtful to return this week. … The running game was solid against Tacoma Baptist, with Torey Dunn gaining 134 yards and Josiah Niemela adding 110. … The defense came up with a couple of key stops late to preserve the win.
Bottom line: The Hawks like these tough non-league foes. Columbia River wants to get back on a positive note after last week’s loss to Camas.
