Mountain View’s Niemi 19th at Fort Steilcoom

Connor Niemi was the top placing Mountain View runner at the Fort Steilacoom Invitational on Saturday at Fort Steilacoom State Park in Lakewood.

Niemi covered the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes, 23 seconds and placed 19th overall.

The Mountain View boys placed 21st out of 47 participating teams, while the Thunder girls were 19th out of 42.
