Last week: Ridgefield beat Woodland 27-20; White Salmon lost to Washougal 56-0.

Ridgefield (2-0): Michael Knox leads the Spudders’ offense with 364 yards rushing and five TDs this season. … Ian Williams has 128 yards. … The defense made two defensive stops deep in Spudder territory last week to fend off a late Woodland charge. … Knox also has an 85-yard kickoff return for a TD in Week 1.

White Salmon (0-2): White Salmon has lost five consecutive games dating back to last year. … In four of those five losses, the Bruins have given up 50 points or more. … White Salmon rushed for only 62 yards last week against Washougal.

Bottom line: Look for another big game from Knox and the Spudders.
