Last meeting: Mountain View won 20-12 on Sept. 17, 2010 in Battle Ground.

Last week: Prairie beat Hockinson 55-7; Mountain View lost to Camas 31-0.

Prairie (1-1, 0-0 3A GSHL): QB Colin Seitz has averaged almost 300 yards passing a game this season and he’s thrown nine TD passes. … Ancil Cecil is the Falcons’ leading receiver with 12 catches for 207 yards and five TDs. … Jesse Zalk has 8 catches for 171 yards and two TDs. … Zalk also has three interceptions this season.

Mountain View (1-1, 0-1 3A GSHL): Mountain View’s first two games were like night and day. The Thunder scored 49 in the first game, 0 in the second. … RB Nick Mace had 130 yards rushing against Evergreen, 1 against Camas. … QB Riley O’Dell was the Thunder’s leading rusher against Camas with 48 yards on 13 carries.

Bottom line: It will be Prairie’s passing vs. Mountain View’s running. The Thunder want to control the ball. If not, O’Dell and the passing game will need to keep pace.

Columbian’s pick: Mountain View.
