Last week: Camas beat Mountain View 31-0; Columbia River beat Kelso 40-12.

Camas (2-0, 1-0 3A GSHL): RB Zack Marshall got back on track last week against Mountain View, rushing for 114 yards after being held to 21 yards against Timberline. … QB Tony Gennaro is averaging 173 yards passing a game … The Papermakers’ defense has allowed just one TD in two games … K Roldan Alcobendas has kicked three FGs this season, including two from 43 yards. … Camas has won the last three meetings.

Columbia River (2-0, 1-0): Junior RB Remick Kawawaki is leading the River offense, averaging 155 yards in the first two games. … QB Clayton Frank has rushed for 166 yards in two games. … River’s defense has allowed 18 points this season, but all 18 points have come in the fourth quarter.

Bottom line: This is a battle of two defenses. Camas appears to have the stronger one, and a good offense to boot.
