Last week: Washougal beat Hudson’s Bay 41-9; White Salmon lost 41-16 to Goldendale

White Salmon (0-1): White Salmon fell behind 41-0 by halftime last week against Goldendale. .. Juan Mendoza-Medina accounted for all of the Bruins’ scoring, with TD runs of 36 and 11 yards. He also scored both two-point conversions.

Washougal (0-1): RB Austin Tofell led the Panthers in rushing with 116 yards on 11 carries. … RB Caleb Howard added 98 yards on 11 carries and scored two first-quarter touchdowns. … QB Colton Sullivan complete 8 of 10 passes for 131 yards and one TD. Sullivan spread his passes around to five different receivers.

Bottom line: Washougal won a lopsided meeting last year. Expect more of the same this year.
