Weekend soccer matches set

The schedule has been set for the WIAA state quarterfinal matches in boys soccer this weekend.

In the 2A state playoffs, Hockinson will get an early start on the rest, as the Hawks travel to Archbishop Murphy at 7 p.m. Friday at Goddard Stadium in Everert. Archbishop Murphy advanced to the quarterfinals with a 3-2 win, via penalty-kick shootouts, over North Kitsap.

On Saturday, there will be a soccer tripleheader at Doc Harris Stadium.

Camas opens the tripleheader with a 3A quarterfinal against Sammamish at 1:30 p.m. Sammamish beat Kennedy 5-1 on Tuesday.

That will be followed by two 1A quarterfinals. First will be White Salmon vs. Seattle Christian at 3:15 p.m. And then Ridgefield faces Cedar Park Christian at 5:30 p.m. Cedar Park Christian advanced with a 1-0 win over Rochester.
