Friday’s High School Stars

Here are some highlights from Friday’s high school sports action in Clark County:

Nate Culver and Austin Barr, Camas baseball: Culver hit a three-run home run in the sixth inning to tie the game, and Barr hit a go-ahead homer with two outs in the top of the seventh inning as the Papermakers rallied for a 6-4 win at Hudson’s Bay.

Ansel Cecil of Prairie baseball went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a double in Prairie’s 12-2 win over Fort Vancouver.

Michelle Brincefield of Skyview softball went the distance for the pitching win and also had three hits and drove in five runs in a win over Camas.

Tobias Martin of Union soccer scored two second-half goals, leading the Titans to a 3-0 win over Battle Ground.

Anthony Cullura of Skyview baseball went 4 for 5 with a double and drove in two runs in the Storm’s 15-2 win at Battle Ground.

Zach Torson of Mountain View baseball hit a grand slam to help the Thunder top Evergreen 18-8.

Connor Lein of Mountain View soccer had both goals in a 2-0 win over Fort Vancouver.

Drew White of Camas soccer had two goals and an assist in the opening minutes of the second half, helping Camas pull away from a scoreless tie, in a 5-0 win over Hudson’s Bay.
