Timmons Heads To Midwest

Priscilla Timmons, a distance runner from Skyview, announced Friday that she will attend the University of Toledo.

“It was a long, hard debate,” said Timmons, who narrowed her choices to Toledo and the University of Washington. “But when it came down to it, I really knew in my heart.”

Simmons, who finished sixth in the Class 4A state cross country meet last fall, plans to run both cross country and track for the Rockets. Toledo qualified for the NCAA Championships last fall and finished 28th.
