National Football Foundation banquet Wednesday

Willamette University football coach Mark Speckman will be the keynote speaker Wednesday at the Clark County chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame’s annual scholarship banquet at Hudson’s Bay High School.

This is the 19th year for the event, which begins at 7 p.m. Tickets for the dinner cost $30. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Six current high school senior football players will receive scholarship money for college ranging from $1,500 to $3,500. High schools in Clark and Skamania counties could nominate one lineman and one back for scholarship consideration.
