1A softball postponed

The La Center softball team will have to wait another day to complete its game with Montesano.

The Wildcats trailed Montesano 2-1 in the fourth inning on Wednesday when the game was stopped because of rain. The two teams hoped to resume the game Thursday, but it also was postponed.

The teams will attempt to play at 2 p.m. Friday. Depending on that outcome, the teams will play in the district semifinals or a loser-out game at 5 p.m.

The tournament will conclude Saturday as scheduled.
