Brackets out for state tournaments

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association released the brackets for this week’s Class 3A and 2A state basketball tournaments.

The 3A girls bracket was announced just moments ago, and the Prairie Falcons better get a good night’s sleep on Tuesday. The Falcons will open the tournament  Wednesday with a 9 a.m. game against Lynnwood.

Union will get a few more hours of sleep. The Titans play the first round of the 3A boys tournament at 2 p.m. against North Central.

Over in Yakima, the Hockinson boys will take on West Valley of Spokane at 4 p.m. in the opening round of the Class 2A tournament.
