Two races running on Salmon Creek Trail this weekend

Moxie Runners will hold its inaugural all-women’s Run Girl Run race this weekend at the Sleep Country Amphitheater in Ridgefield. The event features a 5K and half marathon that takes you out to the Salmon Creek Trail and back. The race starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21. (FYI: There is no day-of registration.)

The Salmon Creek Sunset Run is also happening this Sunday on the Salmon Creek Trail. Choose from a 14K run or 8K walk/ run along the trail as the sun sets. The 14K starts at 5:30 p.m. and the 8K starts at 6 p.m.
