ESPN Visits Warners In Camas

Rick Reilly apparently reads The Columbian. Last month, Paul Valencia had a story about Camas receiver Jonathan Warner — son of Seahawk great Curt Warner and wife Ana — and his 17-year-old autistic brothers. Now, Reilly and ESPN have a video piece about the family.

Reilly and ESPN cameras came out here to interview the Warners; there are highlights of Jonathan scoring a touchdown in the state semifinals at the Tacoma Dome; and a photo by The Columbian’s Steven Lane is prominently featured. There’s also a scary anecdote about the time a few years ago when Austin inadvertently set fire to the family home.

It’s a touching story, and one that any parent can relate to.
