The Ups And Downs Of Bowling
Had a column Sunday about a local high school bowler who rolled a 267 — leaving one pin standing, believe it or not. And then I ran across this story.
Just goes to show that Leah Ecaruan is exactly 167 pins better than a professional bowler. Or at least this professional bowler. Tom Daugherty rolled a 100 at the Tournament of Champions, the lowest nationally televised score in PBA history.
Ecaruan, a senior at Mountain View, struggled in the regional tournament this weekend, but she’ll always have that one magical game.
