Pac-10 Schedule Helps Utah

According to a friend of mine who cares about such things, Utah will be playing in the 2011 Pac-10 championship game.

The conference announced the schedule for its first 12-team season, and the Utes don’t play Oregon or Stanford. They also are in a division that has Southern Cal, which is ineligible for the conference title.

In 2011 and 2012, Washington misses Arizona State and UCLA; Washington State misses USC and Arizona. In 2013 and 2014, UW misses USC and Colorado, while WSU misses UCLA and Utah.

Anyway, mark your calendar for Dec. 3, 2011: Utah at Oregon in the inaugural Pac-10 title game.
