Jury Awards $545,000 To Former Clark Coach
Trev Kiser, former women’s basketball coach at Clark College, has been awarded $545,000 for wrongful termination by the school.
Kiser was fired in 2002. According to the lawsuit, the firing came because he raised questions about the school’s compliance with Title IX. The jury, apparently, agreed. The verdict and the damages were awarded Thursday, and in a couple weeks the judge will add attorney’s fees to the total. We’ll have a detailed story in Friday’s paper.
