What if . . . ?

Sunday’s column is about some of the great “What if?” questions in Northwest sports.

We know all about the Blazers what-ifs: What if they drafted Michael Jordan, etc., etc., and there’s no need to rehash those. But we look at some other interesting issues:

What if Paul Allen had bought the Pittsburgh Penguins? What if Randy Myers hadn’t tried out for baseball at Clark College? What if Steve Prefontaine had worn a seatbelt? And what, oh my, what if Portland voters had approved the Delta Dome?
