Alcove Art Gallery will feature all of its artists for the month of February. The “Passion for Art” exhibit showcases the artists’ love for their creations. Works on display will include paintings, photography, jewelry, stained glass, and Russian embroidery. Gifts for Valentine giving will be featured.

All artists will have works for sale, including cards and prints. A First Friday reception will take place on Friday, February 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., with chocolates served in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

I’ll have two new paintings on display: ‘A Walk in Lincoln Park’ and ‘Nootka Sound.’ Come and see them, and enjoy some of my world-famous chocolate covered peanut butter candies.

The exhibit will run through Saturday, Feb. 23. In addition, the gallery will be giving away “Birds of the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge” limited edition photo postcards by Adrian Peterson. Number five of 12, “Mallard,” will be available throughout February while supplies last.

Alcove Art Gallery, 328 Pioneer Street, Ridgefield, is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and until 8 on the first Friday of each month. For more information, visit www.alcoveartgallery.com. A portion of the proceeds will go toward Neighbors helping Neighbors.
