Ugly Christmas sweater party at Pomeroy Cellars tomorrow
Looking for another excuse to don that ghastly Christmas sweater before putting it away for another year? Snuggle into that toasty heap of yarn and head over the river and through the woods to Pomeroy Cellars tomorrow.
On Sunday, December 18th from 3-5 p.m. Pomeroy Cellars is hosting an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and you (and your nasty knit) are cordially invited. Owners Dan and Destiny Brink will provide complimentary snacks and a warm fire in their cozy 1920’s-themed tasting room. All you need to do is show up and be prepared to be judged—for the crowd favorite sweater contest, that is.
Everyone in attendance will be able to cast their vote for the most appalling argyle, vilest V-neck, contemptible cardigan or tacky turtle neck. The winner will be drawn at 4:15 p.m. and graced with a prize to mark the occasion.
So stop by tomorrow, purchase a glass to go with the fun and frivolities and remember to pick up a supply of Pomeroy Cellars wines to follow you into the New Year. After tomorrow, Pomeroy is closed until Saturday, January 14th.
