Ridgefield Spring Barrel Tasting Tour
Mark your calendars for the Ridgefield Spring Barrel Tasting Tour. Friday, April 8 – Sunday, April 10 Bethany Vineyard & Winery, Gougér Cellars Winery and Three Brothers Vineyard & Winery will be exercising their wine thief talents to share samples of some yet-to-be released treasures. Appetizer pairings will also be available. Each winery has slightly different tasting rooms hours on Friday and Saturday but operate from noon-5 p.m. on Sunday.
While at Three Brothers and Gougér, be sure to congratulate both winemakers on some pretty prestigious, recent wine award. Six of Gary Gougér’s wines medaled at the 2016 Portland Spring Beer and Wine Festival—including his Petite Sirah which took a gold. Dan Andersen’s 2011 Syrah and 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon won bronze medals at the Berlin International Wine Competition and Three Brothers was named Washington Winery of the Year. Everything’s coming up roses for Clark County wineries!
New for Bethany are some simple and delicious food offerings prepared by Simple Elegance Catering. Buy a bottle, possibly a cheese plate or some ham sliders and linger over the stunning landscape of this popular North County winery.
The Ridgefield Spring Barrel Tasting Tour is sure to be a fun time to taste a sneak peak of vintages yet to be released.
