Stepbrothers Gabriel Pedersen and Maxwell Scudder of Vancouver-based Beerded Brothers Brewing Company have launched a Kickstarter fundraising campaign to raise enough capital to enter the retail market with 22-ounce bottles. They hope to use the money to start bottling their Agave Amber Ale which has “a smooth, light hoppy finish, and a 9.0 percent ABV.”
“We want to raise $7,500 through the beer loving community, friends and family,” they said in a news release this week. “As a self-distribution brewery, we will be looking to initially establish our retail strategy around Vancouver, then work our way up Interstate 5 towards Seattle.”
Pedersen and Scudder are running their brewery out of a garage on Vancouver’s east side.
