Comcast SportsNet Northwest To Broadcast All Blazers Summer League Games
Well, you don’t have to go to Vegas to watch the Trail Blazers play in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League this summer.
Comcast SportsNet Northwest (Ch. 37 or 737 in HD) will carry all of their games live after electing not to carry them on cable last summer. Blazers fans were relegated to having to buy a Summer League streaming package through the league that got you access to all of the games during summer league to watch the Blazers.
I’ll be in Vegas this summer to cover at least part of the Blazers trip to Summer League.
Portland’s summer league is expected to have Will Barton, Thomas Robinson, Meyers Leonard, Allen Crabbe, Joel Freeland and CJ McCollum (pictured above).
““We are happy to announce to the fervent fans of Rip City that every Blazers Summer League game will air live on CSN, along with postgame coverage to quench their thirst for more Blazers,” said Comcast SportsNet Vice President and General Manager Larry Eldridge. “After such a great run in the playoffs, we’re all ready for more Blazers.”
“For our fans, Trail Blazers Basketball is a year-round focus, including the off-season when the NBA Draft and free agency drive a lot of the headlines,” said Trail Blazers President and CEO Chris McGowan. “Thanks to our partner Comcast Sports Net, fans in Rip City can feed their appetite for Trail Blazers action this summer as we start the countdown to the 2014-15 season.”
