Lunch with the boys

Clark County just sent out a late add to the commissioner’s calendar for this Friday. I wonder where that came from.

Looks like I’ll be joining Commissioners David Madore and Tom Mielke, State Reps. Paul Harris and Brandon Vick, State Sen. Don Benton and county Assessor Peter Van Nortwick for lunch this Friday.

Or maybe not. Van Nortwick, who took credit for planning the event, said over the weekend that the meeting might not even happen.

No one is showing up? Then why was it added to the calendar? You know what, it doesn’t matter. I’m going anyways. Peter, if you’re still heading out there and want to grab a cup of coffee with me, consider this my RSVP.
