Great AMS Meeting Lineup Announced
After coming off of the single largest Oregon AMS meeting in its 65 year history in January, the Oregon AMS is proud to announce that its February, March and April meetings have been set! There is also an exciting (yet still tentative) meeting planned for May that could end up being a great “double-header.” The exciting and educational lineup begins on Tuesday, February 28th at KPTV Ch 12 studios in Beaverton, Oregon. “Summertime Lightning Forecasting in Oregon and Washington”

John will explain the statistical-dynamical methods used to forecast the magnitude of summertime lightning outbreaks over Oregon and Washington.
