Eastern Washington to host playoff game Dec. 6
Eastern Washington could face a familiar foe in the FCS playoffs.
The Eagles received the No. 4 overall seed in Sunday’s playoff draw. That means Eastern will host a second-round playoff game Dec. 6 at 1:30 p.m. against the winner of Saturday’s first-round clash between San Diego and Montana.
Yes, the same Montana team that Eastern beat 36-26 in its final regular-season home game Nov. 8.
Eastern Washington (10-2, 7-1) clinched a playoff berth by winning the Big Sky Conference for the third consecutive year.
Three Big Sky teams are in the playoffs. Montana State will host South Dakota State on Saturday.
