Jed Barnett brings music, smiles to children’s hospital
If you read The Columbian sports section, you might have seen our recent story about Oklahoma punter Jed Barnett.
It turns out the Union graduate’s contributions go well beyond the football field. ESPN.com recently had a blog item about Barnett and teammate Nila Kasitati’s visits to the Children’s Hospital at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Once a month, they use their stature as Sooner football players and their musical skills to brighten the days of patients and their families.
