Week 10 Roundup: How Clark County players fared

Mitch Saylor, Robbie Kendall

Montana tight end Mitch Saylor is on a roll.

The senior from Union High School has now caught touchdown passes in three consecutive games. Saylor’s 21 receptions are third-highest on Montana, which improved to 6-3 with a 31-13 win Saturday over Sacramento State.

Meanwhile, Central Washington linebacker Kevin Haynes (Battle Ground) had another huge game. He returned an interceptions 73 yards for a touchdown and had a team-high 11 tackles.

Colorado State

Garrett Grayson, Heritage, Sr. QB —Completed 22 of 28 passes for 290 yards in Colorado State’s 38-31 win over San Jose State. Grayson had one touchdown pass as the Rams improved to 8-1 on the season.

Grayson suffered a groin injury in the first quarter that limited his mobility, but he stayed in the game.

Central Washington

Kevin Haynes, Battle Ground, Fr.* LB — Returned and interception 73 yards for a touchdown in Central Washington’s 17-14 win over Lincoln (Missouri).  Haynes also had a team-high 11 tackles, nine of which were solo.

Jesse Zalk, Prairie, So. WR — Had 3 catches for 21 yards. He also had 3 kickoff returns for a total of 61 yards, the longest being 25 yards.
Josh Stolz, Mountain View, So. OL — Played in a backup role.
Gabe Rego, Union, So. LB — Played, but did not record a tackle.
Kaben Humphrey-Butler, Union, So. WR — Did not play.

Mitch Saylor, Union, Sr. TE — Caught a touchdown pass in his third straight game as Montana beat Sacramento State 31-13. His 14-yard TD catch gave the Grizzlies a 31-6 lead late in the third quarter. The senior finished with three catches for 18 yards.
Addison Owen, Camas, Jr.* DE —  Had one tackle in a backup role.
Ryan Johnson, Mountain View, So.* DE — Played, but did not record a tackle.
Ellis Henderson, Skyview, Jr. WR — Is out for the season as he recovers from a stomach ailment.

Montana State

Odin Coe, Camas, Jr. DE — Had seven tackles in the Bobcats’ 35-27 loss at Cal Poly.

Montana State-Northern

Jess Krahn, Hockinson, Fr. QB — Completed 10 of 29 passes for 110 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in the Lights’ 55-13 loss to Carroll College.

Oklahoma

Jed Barnett, Union, Sr. P — Did not have a busy day in Oklahoma’s 59-14 rout of Iowa State. Had two punts for a total of 69 yards, including one downed inside of the 20 yard line.

Kieran McDonagh, Skyview, Jr. QB — Completed 21 of 37 passes for 236 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions in Portland State’s 31-13 loss to Idaho State.

Austin Dodge, Skyview, Sr., QB — The NAIA’s all-time leading passer threw four touchdowns, all in the first half, in the Raiders’ 45-28 win over Rocky Mountain College. Dodge finished 21 for 31 for 350 yards and one interception. His TD passes were 91, 40, 40 and 12 yards.
Dylan Bratlie, Skyvew, Jr. OL — Started at left guard for an offense that gained 611 yards, including 261 yards rushing.
Max Proudfit, Union, Jr. OL — Started at right guard for an offense that allowed just one sack.
