2015 recruiting update: University of Washington

College football games might be two months away, but the recruiting season never seems to take a break.
Signing Day isn’t until February, but dozens of recruits have voiced non-binding “verbal” commitments.
They should be taken with a grain of salt. Prized 2014 recruit Budda Baker had verbally committed to Oregon, but changed his mind the night before signing day in February and will play for theĀ  Washington.

In the most extreme cases, middle schoolers have been wooed by college programs.

Anyway, here’s a rundown of which high school players have given verbal commitments to play at Northwest schools. We’ll start with the University of Washington.

Jake Browning, QB, Folsom, Calif., 4 stars.

Trey Adams, OT, Wentachee (Wenatchee High), 4 stars.

Isaiah Renfro, WR, Chatsworth, Calif., 3 stars.

Myles Gaskin, RB, Seattle (O’Dea), 3 stars.

Michaeal Neal, TE, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., 3 stars.

Jared Hilbers, DE, Beaverton, Ore., 3 stars.

A.J. Carty, Long Snapper, Anaheim, Calif. not ranked

Coming tomorrow, Washington State.
