In earning first-team FCS All-American honors, Eastern Washington senior Ashton Miller’s football season was a huge success.
The Evergreen High School grad accomplished that while being a top-notch student. He was selected to the FCS Academic All-Star Team last week.

Miller, a center, is pursuing his MBA after graduating magna cum laude with a degree in business administration with a 3.74 grade point average. He helped the Eagles offense rank in the top four in FCS in total offense (533.5 yards per game) and passing offense (349.8 yards per game).

The Eagles finished the season 12-3 and advanced to the semifinals of the FCS Playoffs for the third time in the past four years. Miller helped lead EWU to its first perfect 8-0 finish in the Big Sky Conference.

Miller was also named Scholar Athlete of the Month for January by the Eastern Washington Athletic Department.
