Morning Buzz: Wake up, it’s the first day of fall practice

Today’s is the first day of fall practice for Oregon, Oregon State and Washington.

We’ve had stories in The Columbian about Oregon State’s quarterback situation and how Washington won’t be satisfied with another seven-win season.

For this edition of Morning Buzz, let’s see what other angles are being reported as players gather in Eugene, Seattle and Corvallis.

Adam Jude of the Seattle Times poses five questions for the Huskies entering fall camp.

Kevin Hampton of the Corvallis Gazette-Times also lists five key questions facing the Beavers entering camp (We’re sensing a trend here).

And …. Why mess with a good thing? Bleacher Report columnist Jeff Bell lays out five things Mark Helfrich must do to have Oregon in contention for a BCS championship this season.

And we haven’t forgotten you fans of the Cougars, who started camp Friday in Lewiston, Idaho. Christian Caple of the Spokesman review writes about how freshman receiver River Cracraft is making a good early impression.
