A Twitter-eye view as fall camp gets underway

The Pac-12 football season officially kicked off in the Northwest today as Oregon, Oregon State and Washington opened fall camp. WSU began last Friday.
About what you’d expect as far as “news.” Lots of predictable quotes about how “we’re just trying to get better every day” “Today is the first step,” ect.

The most fun way to follow a day like this is Twitter, because you never quite know what you’re going to see.

Take UW, for example. Who knew that lead Pac-12 official Jay Stricherz would drop by Husky Stadium today?

Who knew that “glasses ref” had a Twitter handle. That I’ve got to follow.

Predictably, the focus in Eugene was on those shiny new facilities.
