Saturday Morning Smoothie
It’s (finally) the weekend! To celebrate I made smoothies. Easy, healthy and high in protein, these spruce up any day of the week.
Saturday Morning Smoothies
Makes 2 tall glasses
- 1 1/2 C non-fat cottage cheese
- 8 frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/4 C frozen blueberries
- 1/4 C honey
- 2-4 T milk
Combine cottage cheese and banana to the blender. Add frozen strawberries, blueberries, honey and 2 T milk. If it’s too thick to drink, add 2 T more.
This recipe can be flexed to other frozen fruits- peaches, mangos, blackberries, pineapples and more. Reduce the honey if you don’t want it as sweet.
