Free educational opportunity: Feline Fostering to Save Lives
Learn how make a difference for animals in our community! Almost 1,000 more cats come into our local shelters each year than dogs. There is a great need for foster homes to help shelters that are full care for cats and kittens that are not yet ready for adoption.
“Feline Fostering to Save Lives” will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at Healthy Pets NW, 7642 S.W. Capitol Highway in Portland. The event features Petsmart Charities grant recipient Kristi Brooks of the Cat Adoption Team and Dr. Allison Lamb of Bonnie Hays Small Animal Shelter and offers information:
• Make a difference immediately in your foster program or shelter
• Learn how to set up a successful program
• Discuss advanced techniques to better care for your cats/kittens
• Learn about disease and cleaning protocols to keep your charges happy and health
