Local Sno-park vendors
SNO-PARK VENDORS: Reader Bill Stulbarg of Camas asks a good question: With the closure of G.I. Joes in Vancouver, where can you buy a Washington sno-park permit?
I bought mine at the Gifford Pinchot National Forest headquarters, 10600 N.E. 51st Circle. The other Clark County vendor is Chelatchie Prairie General Store in Chelatchie.
Skamania County vendors include Wind River Market in Carson, Home Valley Store in Home Valley, and Main Street Convenience in Stevenson. In western Klickitat County, the permits are sold at BZ Corner Grocery in BZ Corner and Inn of the White Salmon in White Salmon.
Cougar Store in Cougar also sells the permits.
