Community Growth Radio, located in Vancouver, Washington, is a full-time online free radio network with 8 streams offering a wide variety of programming that is very target-specific for the blind, disabled, visually impaired, and those who cannot read or hold print.
CGR Radio broadcasts newspaper, book, and magazine readings, relevant community programming, educational programming, and entertainment that is NOT heard on any local AM/FM or Internet Outlet in SW Washington/Oregon.
CGR Radio is NOT a non-profit but it is mainly self-supported.
CGR radio has been in operation since 2012 and is a recognized reading/audio information service serving SW Washington and Oregon.
CGR also offers programming in over 40 Languages such as book readings, cultural music/programming, Old Time Radio/Nostalgia, programming from over 300 sources such as Pacifica Radio Network, ACB Radio for the Blind, Independent program producers and podcasters, and by in-home volunteers who read books and magazines and programs not normally heard on conventional broadcasting.
CGR is one of 30 similar services in The US and CGR is recognized as a full-time audio service.
CGR has the ONLY Spanish radio reading service west of Colorado and programming on that stream is NOT heard on any other Spanish Language AM/FM or Internet outlet in The NW…
CGR Radio has the potential of reaching over 500,000 people via 3rd party broadcasters, various apps/players, and 2 non-commercial FM stations(KFAE/KPBX)through their SCA 67Khz subcarrier service(this can be heard through special pre-tuned closed circuit radios)that are very affordable and many radios can be found in Nursing Homes/Hospitals and residents who may not have internet access or may not embrace apps or computers.
CGR 1 is relayed as mentioned above by KFAE and KPBX through their main SCA signal and many of their FM translators that can broadcast SCA by covering parts of OR/WA/ID/MT and BC Canada and The Central Gorge area(WA and OR).

(THE listen links do work but CHROME no longer supports Voscast and many other streaming providers)also, check your computer for firewalls in public places.
FIREFOX works the best..but the streams do work…CGR uses Voscast due to the low price, no listener caps or data level and CGR programming is mainly voice and nostalgia recordings and uses a 48Kbps MONO feed like other Radio Reading Services..(disclaimer).
