Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler
Are you ready? They are almost here! Strawberries with all of their red, juicy goodness. This has got to be one of my favorite seasons as far as fruit is concerned.
Eating a fresh strawberry takes me back to being a little girl, picking strawberries in my grandmother’s back yard. She would let me eat as many as I wanted with a little saucer full of sugar to dip them into. I had no idea all those years ago, that there were so many tasty ways to enjoy strawberries!
One of my favorite ways to enjoy strawberries any time of the year is in a cobbler. I can’t have strawberries in a cobbler of pie without rhubarb, they just go so well together. Don’t you agree?
This cobbler works great with frozen berries too, so make sure you pick extra berries this season so you can enjoy this cobbler even on the coldest of winter days. Just take their tops off, wash them and put them in a freezer bag or container. You’ll have yummy strawberries for all of your favorite desserts all year long!
