Fun at the Pickled Heron
Things were hopping last night at the Pickled Heron in Ridgefield, where artists and artist-would-bes gathered to paint a picture of town hall and the Ridgefield clock. The event raised money for the Main Street Program, which is working to revitalize the downtown area.
Kay Stringfellow, owner of the Pickled Heron, donated everything for the evening: canvases, paint, brushes, etc. Merrilee Lee won a frame for her painting from the company where Kay buys her framing materials.
Thank you Kay, for a great evening!
The Pickled Heron is at 418 Pioneer Street in downtown Ridgefield and has a full stock of art supplies in their lower-level store. They’re usually open Tuesday through Friday from noon to six, but call before coming to make sure Kay is in the store, 606-4939.
