River ‘S’ Unit of Refuge to Close Jan 27&28
The River ‘S’ Unit of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge will be temporarily closed to public use Monday and Tuesday, January 27th and 28th for geotechnical drilling along Refuge roadways. The geotechnical drilling will help in planning future road and bridge improvements at the Refuge.
The Carty Unit will remain open for hiking, wildlife observation, and photography. For additional information concerning the public use opportunities during this closure, please contact the Refuge Office at 360-887-4106.
