Ridgefield’s Interim City Manager
Ridgefield is pleased to welcome our new interim City Manager, Paul Lewis.
Paul has been a resident of the greater Ridgefield community since 1994. He lives with his wife Linda and daughter Emma at the south end of the Ridgefield School District boundary where his daughter is in the 5th grade at South Ridge. Paul has been an independent consultant since 2004 providing financial and management consulting services to state and local governments and not for profit organizations. As a consultant Paul has worked with numerous cities in Washington including Camas, Washougal and La Center and recently filled the role of Interim Assistant City Manager in Vancouver. Prior to starting his own consulting business Paul worked in local government in Clark County including serving as Finance Director for the City of Vancouver. Before moving to Clark County Paul worked in the State and Local Government consulting practice of Deloitte & Touche based in Seattle. When he isn’t working or helping coach girls basketball Paul enjoys fly fishing and hiking near Mt. St. Helens.
Paul has an MBA in Public Policy and Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Carleton College. He is President of the Ridgefield Public Schools Foundation, serves on the Board of Directors of the Clark County Public Facilities District and is on the Finance Committee for Partners in Careers, a non-profit agency that provides job training and employment services.!
