The Ridgefield City Wide Garage Sale will be June 21 and 22. The Lions Club is sponsoring it this year, and they will have their super sale at the Community Center the same week-end. The Lions Club Sale runs from 8am to 4pm both Friday and Saturday.
Allene Wodaege is one of the participants in the sale, with two tents and a garage full of goodies for the discerning purchaser. Allene is raising money to send her granddaughter to art school, and she’s been collecting items since last year’s sale. Come to her home at 1261 Old Pioneer Street early on Friday to get the best deals.
For those of you new to Ridgefield, the City Wide Garage Sale is an annual event. People all over the Ridgefield area participate, and there’s a free map showing the participating locations.
