To my readers who are ‘mature’ drivers:
I took the on-line AAA “I Drive Safely” test last week to qualify for a discount on my car insurance. The last time I took this course it was through AARP, and the later is by far the better course, in my opinion. The AAA material was dry and required memorization, while the AARP class had simulations of various interactive events that tested your perception and looked very real. Some of the pictures included in the AAA program didn’t match what they were supposed to illustrate.
If you are the right age to qualify for a mature citizen discount and you don’t want to sit through a two-day course, I highly suggest the AARP online class..
