Ridgefield will celebrate its Heritage on Saturday, September 14 with all kinds of activities in honor of this active community. Events will be at the Community Center, 210 North Main Avenue and Davis Park, which is across the street. A schedule of events will be posted at a later date, but the highlight presentation will be premier storyteller Sam Robinson, Vice Chair of the Chinook Nation, who will relate historical accounts of the Chinook people who lived in the Ridgefield area for thousands of years.
