“Invest in Wildlife,” this year’s fund raiser put on by the Friends of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, will be held Saturday, September 22, at the Old Liberty Theater. The public is invited to attend. It’s a good chance to meet other interesting people and support the refuge.
Some of the things that are up for bid are a Chinook paddle made by Sam Robinson, a rare 3-liter hand etched bottle of Sandhill Wine with certificate, a beautiful hand crafted table made by Bruce Crockett, a dinner for six with a tour of an extensive Hudson River 18th century American art collection, and other romantic getaways and dinner opportunities. My watercolor painting, “Evening at the Refuge” will be auctioned off.
Tickets are $40. Make your check out to Friends of the Ridgefield NWR and send to Bruce Crockett, 1521 NW Carty Road, Ridgefield, WA 98642. The tickets will be held for you at the theater – no receipt will be sent. If all tickets have been sold before your check gets there you will be notified and your check will be returned to you.
