Local Ridgefield Hero

One of our local Ridgefield heroes is SFC Dave Sivewright who is stationed at Fort Douglas, Salt Lake City, but keeps a home in Ridgefield.

Dave runs through town carrying the American flag, and tries to run 20 miles at a time. Since he started tracking his mileage in February of 2010 he’s run well over 1000 miles.
