‘Scott Free’ at Old Liberty Theater
“Scott Free,’ a play about Abigail Scott Duniway, will be performed at the Old Liberty Theater, 113 North Main Avenue in downtown Ridgefield, on Friday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m.
The performers use this description for the play, “Abigail Scott Duniway walked the Oregon Trail in 1852. She was 17. She was big and outspoken. She worked 40 years to get women the vote and she lived to see victory in 1912. She was 78. This is a play about her life.”
The play was written by Toni Douglas and it is performed by Barbara Callander and Toni Douglass. The erformance is sponsored by the Friends of the Ridgefield Library and is free to the public. For more information call (360) 887-8281.
