It looks like 2013 will be a busy year for Vancouver beer festivals. So far, there are four on the list.

Here’s our June 7 preview story for 2013’s brewfest lineup: Toasting local brews

Here are the main festival dates:

June 7-8: Who’s Your Daddy Brewfest (in association with By The Bottle), Turtle Place Park.

June 14-16: Vancouver Summer Brewfest (in association with the Vancouver Marathon), Esther Short Park.

Aug. 9-11: Vancouver Brewfest, Esther Short Park.

Dec. 13-15: Vancouver Winter Brewfest, Esther Short Park.

Here are some smaller festivals and contests that are also worth checking out:

July 13 and August 24: Shorty’s Garden and Home has two mini-beerfests on July 13 and August 24 featuring Clark County brewers. Visit the company’s summer series page for details.

August 25: Mashfest is a private home-brewing competition put together by Bader Beer and Wine Supply. It will be held from 4-8 p.m. at Mint Tea. Check the company’s website for details.

September 20: Shorty’s Garden and Home will host its 10th Oktoberfest. The indoor event, held Friday from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m., features bands and German beers and typically draws a crowd of 800-900 people. Organizers hope to add German beer styles from Clark County brewers to this year’s festivities.

There are more smaller competitions and indoor festivals coming up. If you know of any we missed, please let us know in the comments section and we’ll add them.
