Blazers Roy could play in Game 5, McMillan says
Portland Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan said Saturday that guard Brandon Roy could play in Game 5 against the Phoenix Suns.
McMillan is encouraged by Roy’s rehabilitation following right knee surgery April 16 to repair a torn meniscus.
Roy was initially ruled out of the series against the Suns. But if he continues to make progress, he could be greenlighted Monday.
Roy was a late addition to Portland’s active roster Saturday.
