Williams expected to sign Tuesday with Hornets, agent says

Portland Trail Blazers assistant coach Monty Williams is expected to sign a contract Tuesday with New Orleans to take over the Hornets’ vacant head-coaching position, Williams’ agent, Steve Kauffman said Monday evening.

Williams was offered a multi-year deal by the Hornets last Friday.
